Sandiaga Sends Team to Tsunami Affected Area, Participates in Grieving

Channel Nasional. Vice President number 02, Sandiaga Uno, mourned the tsunami disaster in the Sunda Strait which affected Banten to South Lampung. He also sent the team to the location.

"We are very concerned, very mourning the occurrence of the tsunami tide at Anyer Beach and we continue to monitor the situation. Let all of us, the whole community, pray that our colleagues who are still declared missing can be immediately found safe. And "For the victims to fall, hopefully this fallen victim will be given a fortitude," said Sandiaga.

This was conveyed during a blood donation event at Roemah Djeoang, Jl Wijaya I, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday. Based on data from BNPB, currently there are 168 people died from the tsunami.

Sandiaga made sure the team went straight to the location. Volunteers were asked to work with government officials.

"Our team has immediately gone down there. Record what assistance is needed. Become volunteers from Prabowo-Sandi immediately move to ensure that we can work together with government officials," he said.

In addition to fielding a team, he will raise funds for tsunami victims. Sandiaga invited the community to join in praying for the victims. He said there was a proposal for national repentance.

"Yes there are those who propose to do a joint prayer and national repentance. And I think it is good to pray for each other in the present situation. And regardless of the process of contesting this democratic party we must prioritize our unity," Sandiaga said.

"In a situation like this, it's time for the nation to set aside differences in possible political choices. But we are united in the spirit of restoring the situation in Banten now," he continued.
